DEVIL’S HELMET Exclusive Crawler Harness – Colorado Size 4 (Deep Cup)
When you are hunting the deep, dark haunts of massive trophy walleye and need a stealthy presentation that packs an explosive visual surprise, it is time to drop the DEVIL’S HELMET exclusive crawler harness. Handcrafted meticulously to meet the uncompromising standards of professional tournament anglers, this premium walleye spinner rig is the highly requested size 4 version of our legendary Nightshade pattern. It combines a low-visibility silhouette with hyper-reactive fluorescent properties to deliver a high-impact presentation engineered to break stubborn slumps.
Deep Cup Dimpled Gold & UV Pink Tiger Stripe Flash
The visual engine of this harness is a size 4 deep cup Colorado spinner blade coated in a rich, gloss deep dark purple base. The deep cup profile allows the blade to cup and grab extra water, generating a heavy, throbbing acoustic vibration that walleyes track easily through their lateral lines. The front of the blade is detailed with high-contrast, hand-painted fluorescent UV pink tiger stripes that explode under a blacklight or natural sunlight down in the strike zone.
Flip the blade over to find a brilliant, polished gold back finished in a deep dimpled pattern. This textured honeycomb surface cuts up light to reflect a scattered, high-frequency flash as it spins through the water column. The high-action blade rotation is seamlessly paired with a custom, hand-selected bead stack that perfectly mirrors the blade’s profile, featuring a clean layout of alternating translucent dark purple and translucent light pink beads.
Upgraded Heavy Duty Tournament Hardware
Every element of this professional-grade worm harness is engineered for long-lasting durability and maximum insurance against the largest fish in the system:
-
- Ultra-Heavy Leader Line: Tied on a 5-foot long leader using extra-strong 25 lb. test premium Seaguar INVIZX fluorocarbon line. This premium line delivers elite near-invisibility in clear water columns while offering maximum abrasion resistance against sharp shield rocks, timber, and razor-sharp teeth.
- Sticky-Sharp Hooks: Equipped with two premium, razor-sharp size #2 red Octopus hooks spaced precisely 3 1/2 inches apart to securely peg nightcrawlers straight and eliminate short strikes.
- Heavy-Duty Swivel: Anchored with a size #7, heavy-duty 50 lb. test black crane swivel built to completely eliminate line twist during fast or prolonged trolling runs.
